The Kite Runner, the meaning behind the words.
This movie really touches my heart, so that Nothing but
tears that always run down my face. Beside the author of this book who narrated
the story very well, its movie was well-narrated either. I am not
an expert in reviewing movie but based on my view, this is my testimony
of the whole movie.
It is Amir that says “for you a thousand times ever” that
is really touching, because it has to do with what Ali said when they were children, which were
also the same words. And it is all about running the kite whose meaning is
implisit. When they were children, Amir used to play a kite and contest with
other in the first of winter. When it was eventually won by him, Ali then ran
the kite for Amir saying, “do you want me to run the kite for you?”, “yes,”
said Amir. Ali then said once again, “for you a thousand times ever.” These words
emerged once more before the end of the movie, and it was about running the
kite either. The difference are Amir was the one saying it and Ali’s son was
the one said, and it was in America.
This words
give us deep meaning about some dealing with “take and give” each other but
with different persons. That “different
persons” is which makes it different and touching. How Amir payed back what
Ali, killed by Taliban, did to him by picking his son in Afghanistan even
endangered his self was unbelievable and unfurtunately made me even speechless.
How he payed back by running the kite for Ali’s son after returning to America
was the most beautiful scene ever.
